The idea to launch Ducky Beau began 15 years ago. But what to call this new brand? Since our office is surrounded by chickens, horses, ducks and sheep, the inspiration for a brand name was right before our eyes. But ‘Chicken Beau’ sounded more like a recipe than a fashion label for luxurious baby clothes. And ‘Horse Beau’ didn’t sound appealing at all. ‘Sheep Beau’, if you pronounced it quickly, made you think of a certain kind of German coffee. What remained was the little duck, soft and cute. Ducky Beau: perfect, don’t you think?
